The closest I can get is George Brown born 1875 Kensington son of George Brown from Denham Bucks and Eliza from Camden Town who married in 1874 in Kensington but this is from the IGI not always to be trusted. |

This is the only birth I can see in Kensington between 1874 and 1877 but the first names are the other way round (which I have seen happen before):- |

I have George James Brown b.1875/6 Kensington, London and wife Emma Edith Pullen b. 1877/8 Kensington on 1911 and 1901 census. Living Swinbrook Road, North Kensington on 1911 and Acklam Road, North Kensington on 1901. However, I have looked and looked for George on 1891 and 1881 census returns using the above information and just cannot locate him. I have no knowledge of the different areas of London so would not be able to recognise if they were perhaps living in an adjacent area. Without this info I cannot proceed to George's parents etc. Could anyone help by having a quick look to see if they, George and/or Emma, can be spotted. Many thanks. |
