I think that the 1891 Annie Douch might well be this Annie in 1881 with the location of Horsebridge.

However a tree on Ancestry lists this Annie with a marriage on 24 Dec 1892 - Cranbrook, Kent, to James William Stratford so the 1891 Annie Douch in Mile End is probably not the right Annie.

Edit - Just found Annie below in 1891 with parents so she is not the Annie in 1891 in Mile End

when she married in 1916 in horsham to henry light she is aged 36 so birth would be 1880 easthouse sussex
in 1913 on her son alberts birth she is living at 136 crawley road aged
36?
she died in 1954 her daughter mary grey was the informant she was aged 76 so birth would be 1878 but mary was unsure of her age when the death cert was done and it was done on the familys best guess lol mary is now suffering with memory loss unfortunatly and her sisters wont spill any beans
on her daughter charitys birth record she is listed as annie daitch born east house sussex aged 43 so birth would be 1877
on her marriage her dad is john douch a bricklayer ???
i have lots of info on certs but still cant find her or records which would make sence i am hoping one day i will find her

I'm always interested in your posts Lorraine as I am sure your Douch family and my Douch family will eventually tie up.

Am I being stupid here or am I missing something? If Choccy has found the death in 1903 of the Annie Douch that married Charles McKennie, then she can't be your Annie Douch that married Henry Light in 1916.

so if that annie mckimmie dies in 1903 and he remarries then thats another dead end for my searches ???????
oh well i seem to have now ruled out all annie douch records for 1870 to 1885 and none are mine lol
dont think i will ever find out the truth i rearly thought i might be getting some where today but never mind
back to square one for the millionth time

him being single in 1901 would make sence as i think she is living with henry light in horsham in 1901 listed as ann/annie light

when they got married how easy was it to get a divorse or could they just be separated for a few years then remarry ???? as she had lots of children with henry light but did not marry him till 1916 horsham and on that cert she says she is single lol
she was in the work house white chapel union in 1891 listed as annie douch aged 17 a pauper domestic and i cant understand why she went in there when her family were living in the parish of penge croydon surrey then she marrys in 1874 but could not work out partner to trace them on lol

so that means its between albert ernest ward and charles steward mckennie then, i could not find them and annie on the 1901 or 1911 census records i have been finding info on her all day then i found the marriage record and no luck since
