help trying to research my wifes family ok om her fathers side but strugling on her grandmother her grandfather was a william duffy born c1899 to a robert and mary duffy in liverpool william married annie thompson 1918 but we want to know some history of annie thompson to the best of our knowlage annie was in her seventie when she died in about 1975 it is spoken that she may have been married or had a child by a partner who it is said was run over by a coal merchants horse and cart also how would i establish william duffys occupation regards paul :-)

hi gins the marrige of william and anne/annie was 1918 dont know much about william but met with anne she died the year my daughter was born 1975 in liverpool

strugling with my wifes gg/grandad robert duffy born liverpool 1845 cant see him on the 1851 or 61 census so do not know his parents names will have to purchace his birth cert unless any one can help regards paul however annies famil i have traced to westmorland her gg/grandfather was a thomas castley born 1781 he was married to hannah castley any help befor that would be good paul
