Managed to trace back to the 1841 census for WM Cornbill born 1806 who was 35 in this census registration and married to Margarett who was born in the same year. Is there any way I would be able to go farther back as the 1841 census is the earliest one available to view... |

Going back to my grandfather Kenneth the names, places and dates all add up as he was the only Kenneth born in the 1920's and his father was named as Menotta so there's a 90% chance it is correct....is familysearch free to view? |

Kenneth was my grandad, Mennotta is listed as my grandfather's dad on the record I found and he did marry Nellie, just looked on familysearch and the only details available were from the 1941 census. |

I gave the information below to Michelle and advised her to start her own thread, which she has done (she had added information to a very old query from someone else) |

Will be visiting the library after Easter to see if looking through their archives can be of assistance, hopefully getting my mom's marriage certificate may be of help as well. |
