I don't know if it helps at all in searches, as I have just seen this one's mother was notified, his parents were Joseph and Emily. |

He was definitely still alive in 1911 as he is with his family on the census... |

The twin sister is Elsie Edith so who is Nellie listed above? |

Sorry Rose, not sure who Elsie Edith is... Albert's twin sister was Mabel (as she was recorded in the 1901 census) but her middle name was Eleanor so she was known as Nellie - as recorded in 1911. |

Thanks Rose, that makes sense. And he has uncles called Samuel and George so perhaps they used Albert to dinstinguish him from them. |

Twins usually have the same volume and page number (or very close), so finding Mabel's birth leads you to his. |

Jax found the above record on Ancestry.co.uk. It probably is on GR, but with a different transcription. |

Hello, sorry to add a quick Q to the above. I don't have access to the Ancestry record from 1861. Does it give a street address? |

Many thanks Christine! Anderson is not a far stretch in terms of letters, but I don't think I would ever have guessed it would be that! |
