The only Janeway found is a death of Sarah Ann buried 19 Oct 1777 wife of James and Ann buried 21 Oct. 1777 daughter of James.

GODALMING 1582-1688 online transcription first published in 1904

if you put the above in your search engine you will get the Surrey parish registers - then click on Godalming and you will get the full BMDs - I started ploughing through them and never found a Janeway - I did find a Robert Page married to Mary who had a child Katarine on 6/6/1600

I lost the will to carry on searching after about 1650, but you might like to have a go yourself - skip through the baptisms - there are no Janeways there - I had just got to the beginning of the marriages

Regarding Lucy Janeway, I have perused the parish records of Godalming and have no further mention of her except for marriage, children and her death. Also looked in Surrey BMD's 1538 onward. My next step is to look in adjacent parishes. Usually couples were married in the brides parish which makes me wonder if Lucy arrived from outside of Surrey.
