I have exhausted all sources in my search for two brothers who dissapear after census returns:-

Edwin Baker Shepheard born 24 Mar 1856 was recorded in the 1881 census as being a 25 year old Mason living with his unmarried sister in Modbury, Devon.

His brother Frederick Baker Shepheard was born on 4 Nov 1860 in Modbury and again vanishes after the 1871 census where he is scholar living at home with his parents in Modbury.

I would value another set of eyes just in case I have missed something obvious in the long search I have made for them.
