it was 1916, the middle of WW1


could he have died, and Mary re-married?

Same place he was in in 1911. Ancestry won't let me copy and paste.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

There is more than one Mary Hildred born within a 5 year period in Lincs. Given that ages on census and certs are often out I'd definitely get that marriage cert to check details.

There does not appear to be any Craven/Hildred births registered in England and Wales after 1916.

Hi I'm trying to trace Mary Craven, she was born as Mary Hildred, 1893, registered in Boston, Lincs 7a 442
She married Walter Craven in 1916, registered Boston, Lincs 7a 1013.
I haven't found anything else as yet
Can anyone help?
