Find Ancestors

Hi,

I've found a Dominica Crolla on the 1901 census age 25 on Anc**try but her age is way out and I think it may be a typo. Could someone check this for me if anyone has the means....

I think she should have been born c1850 in Italy....

Thanks allotment, got her death....it's the inbetweeny bits that are fuzzy....I thought I'd found her but Anc**try's transcriptions are notorious so I'm hoping it's her but the age is wrong....

Mmmm just to complicate things.....checked on SP and there's no Dominica Crolla on the 1901 census!! Did a search for all the Crollas in Scotland for 1901.,......Arggghhhhhh

Downloaded the image, I found Giacinta Crolla (who is actually 26 and not 50) and Dominica is there too but her surname of Crolla has been scored out and replaced with Marggietta. That's why she didn't show up on the index!!!!! Should have guessed!!!

I spotted him but there's nothing to say that he's MY Michael Crolla. The occupation is the same but I think the organ grinding was quite common! Dominica was his second marriage as she was a lot younger than him. I think this one will remain a mystery! But thanks anyway!
