MaggyfromWestYorkshire Report 6 Feb 2012 11:23

Is anyone on here connected to John Ernest Whiting? On the 1911 census he gives his place of birth as DEPTFORD. I have a copy of his marriage certificate, he married MARY ELLEN BISHTON in 1908 in Sheffield, but I can find no information on him before then.

I have found a John Whiting born in Deptford on Census Records, but in 1911 this one is still with his parents in Deptford, so I'm almost sure this is not the right one.

Any information on this one will be gratefully received.
