My grandparents Alfred John Renshaw and Elizabeth Williams were married in Birkenhead, Cheshire, Sept 1894, but I have hit a brick wall trying to find who Elizabeth's parents were - the name of the father on the cert. is Hugh Williams (deceased). Can some kind person give me a clue as to how to find her parents with such little information to work with? |

Joyce, although Hugh was deceased on the marriage certificate did it mention an occupation? |

You all have the right Renshaw family - thank you! The occupation of Hugh on the marriage cert. is Engineer, and the address where Elizabeth was living is 30 Leicester St. Birkenhead, her age was 19. The witnesses were Frederick Hough and Margaret Renshaw. |

The problem with this is that it states Mary was born in Wales! |
