I have put the birth of your grandfather up with the reference numbers. You can buy the certs online through GRO.

Many thanks for your reply. unfortunately I don't have my late grandfathers birth certificate and my mom is also deceased, and I reside in South Africa. So unfortunately I don't have any first names for my great grandparents. how do I search on Freebmd? sorry I am very new to this.

I think you might need a birth cert. Did you look for Heighway/Williams marriages on Freebmd?

Please can someone assist me, I am trying to find the names of my Great Grandparents. My Grandfather was Arthur Williams Heighway born Dec 1921 (Salford). Mothers maiden name Willams.
Arthur had 2 siblings: Norah W Heighway born 1924 (Salford) and Marion W Heighway born1929 (Salford).
Your assistance would be greatley appreciated
