Pulling my hair out as I have been searching NSW BDM's and cannot find the marriage. I have George Greene's dc for Jindara district of Albury NSW (farmer born Ireland ) 2/7/1877 which has him born in 1811. Wife is stated as Eliza McGill and married Jindera. Informant is son George Greene Farmer of Jindera. Unfortunately son George did not report names of children but there are 2 males, 2 females living and 1 male dead. I have found his buriel on the cemetery list but not his wife Eliza. Can only think that she moved away or remarried. DC states George was 37 years in NSW. |
