Old thread I know but didn't want to repeat the searches!
I now have the BIRTH Certificates for Clara and Agnes as well as Agnes's death. They were twins, born to my 2xGreat-Grandmother, Agnes Matilda Huntsworth on 1st March 1880. Agnes died on 19th June 1880
By 1881 Agnes is living in Lancashire.
1881 for reference:
Name: Agnes Huntsworth Age: 22 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1859 Relation: Servant Gender: Female Where born: Middleton Chearney, Northamptonshire, England Civil parish: North Meols County/Island: Lancashire Country: England Street Address: 29 Park Rd Education:

I also have all the certificates to prove my connection to Agnes Matilda, even though she lies about her age at the time of marriage.
Can't find a death for Clara Huntsworth/Hunsworth/Unsworth anywhere in England, so I'm thinking Agnes left her in Derby to be raised by Elizabeth Lakin and Clara was never told who her real mother was, but was told she'd had a twin sister and used Agnes first name as her middle name. Thinking this is right because Agnes gave birth to my Great-Grandmother, Alice T Huntsworth, in Derby on 21st June 1877 and she's living with her Grandmother and Aunt in 1881.
Name: Alice T. Huntsworth Age: 3 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1878 Relation: Granddaughter Gender: Female Where born: Derbyshire, England Civil parish: Derby St Werburgh County/Island: Derbyshire Country: England Street Address: 17 Victoria Terrace Macklin St Education:

And here was me thinking that this branch of my family would be easy to trace, considering the unusual surname!

How sad, the other son died young too:
Illinois, Deaths and Stillbirths Index, 1916-1947
Name: George James Allen Birth Date: 1 Jul 1902 Birth Place: England Death Date: 3 Sep 1934 Death Place: Chicago, Cook, Illinois Burial Date: 6 Sep 1934 Burial Place: Chicago, Cook, Illinois Cemetery Name: Rosehill Death Age: 32 Occupation: Painter Race: White Marital Status: S Gender: Male Residence: Chicago, Cook, Illinois Father Name: George Allen Father Birth Place: England Mother Name: Agness Turner ??? Mother Birth Place: England FHL Film Number: 1907322
Now, on some records Clara is Clara A - could she be Clara Agnes? I guess the surname could be a corruption of Unsworth/Huntsworth as known by the informant?

Considering George's occupation of Rly Coach Finisher (Wood) in 1901 I would say that's them crossing from Canada to the USA in 1923, there's certainly no trace of them in 1911 that I can find.
Thanks for checking those baptisms, looks like I'll have to get the birth certificates to find out who they belong to.

Have been away from the board for quite a while due to family problems but am getting back into it now and have a puzzle to solve. I have a 'Huntsworth' family in my family tree going back to Derby.
There are these three baptisms in Derby and I would appreciate it if someone could check the record to see if it says who the parents are.
HUNTSWORTH Agnes 1880 Derby Derbyshire VIEW N/A HUNTSWORTH Charles William 1872 Derby St Peter Derbyshire VIEW N/A HUNTSWORTH Clara 1880 Derby Derbyshire VIEW N/A
I know Agnes & Charles died as a babies but Clara has always been a puzzle. However, I think I've solved that with a full Census sub at FMP.
