Hi,

Is it possible to search online for old businesses in a certain area and between certain years (1890 - 1920)?

Thanks

It does not seem to be of a 'sensitive nature' BM so it would be best to post the details on here - that way, many more people will be looking for you.

There's a newspaper article from 1895, when there was a fire at the premises of D Brazier, corn dealer. Could this be relevant?

Sorry, this should read 1885 (24th August, London's Morning Post)

Does not mean the shop was called Brazier

B

B Report 1 Jan 2012 13:13

Yes that's them. A family member thinks it was called Brazier's.
