My father`s grandmother was Wellmotte Coogan and she was born in Penzance Cornwall. My father`s maternal grandfather was a chemist in Preston, but in 1911i he was a pharmacuticle chemist in a hospital in Isle of Man and lived at 14,Queens Terrace Douglas Isle of Man. I think we are getting a bit nearer with your help thanks. |

I dont think it will show if he was a twin or not as you say the twin died and therefore may not be "openly" registered ...so you cant see it only his nearest next of kin can and if brothers and sisters are still alive you are not that |

Thanks Alan.Did it state whether or not he was a twin?My Grandmother left Douglas after my grangfather went to Australia and came to live in Lancaster. I think they were divorced,as my grandad died in Melbourne Australia aged 64 in 1941. |

Do you know their parents names? Your father's MC would/ought to name his father. |
