Trying to find the ancestors of William Lyon b.1746 at North dalton, Yorkshire. He married Catherine Julian b. 1756 North Frodingham.
Having trouble finding out who his parents & grandparents were.
They had a daughter called Milcah Lyon b.1788 North Dalton & she married James Ruston b.1781 Bainton.
Would also like to know more on the Ruston family.
Can anyone help please. Thankyou

There is a tree on ancstry which matches alloment info.

and says father John Lyon 1730-1784 mother Jane Picwith 1718


and has william passing away 1830 in Dalton.

yes that matches te info on ancestry someone has put for the marriage good find allotment. they have a photo of all saints church in kilnwick on Jane Pickwith porfile.
