BTW.....there are numerous records for George Humphrey in Sussex............it might be better to start from his birth, rather than the death

How do you think he is connected to you? Have you tried following the line from KNOWN connections?

You might be right Flick but i have to eliminate this first,the crematorium said that it stated she was his wife.

He may have married later on in life not early?

There are quite a few possibilities, but if you could narrow down the area where he might have been married that would help.

I dont really know what area apart from most of the time his family were around the Eastbourne area/Sussex, if this is him though.

At the moment i am going by his birth year and death year and age match up.

Did they have any children ?
If so Ethel's maiden name would be on their birth certificates.

You haven't said why you think he is related to you......or what the connection would be - if there was one

The crem would only know what the woman told them...............

Yes Adeline thats his family,his mother Charlotte was my grt grandfathers sister.

Why have you latched on to this particular death - out of all those for the name in the area?

There is this one but the groom isn't listed so don't know if he is George.

yes George died 1959 Brighton, i did not want to confuse people looking at all the other thread, a marriage is just what i asked for.

I hope i have not confused you all.

If there is a death of a Ethel M A Humphrey after 1959 she may be the one he married.
