I don't honestly think that Robert is asking for 'help' from us per se.

By the way he has phrased his messages, it seems he is simply wanting people connected to the names he has posted, to get in touch with him.

I have sent a gentle email to alert him to the fact that he is causing quite a bit of 'discussion' on the boards and have advised him to read the Help Clinic guidelines and I have suggested that he removes his email address.

I have also advised him how to return to his thread.

Try using GR's 'search trees' facility - if you find any of the countless names you are researching....send a message to the tree owner, by clicking on 'find out more'

GR's intended purpose is to try to help people to find their own relations........not to offer a free research tool to someone who is an 'historian'.

Hi Bob,
Please delete your e-address, not a good idea to put it on an open thread.

Researching Irish families that emigrated from Cork Ireland to Port Jackson (Sydney) on the “Thames” arriving 11 April 1826. The emigrants comprising wives and children were granted free passage to join their husband/father who had previously been transported.
Convict John Thomas OWEN transported on “Asia 1 (3)” 1825. Wife Mary children Sarah, John Thomas, Henry and William from county Queens arrived on the “Thames”. I am researching all the families that emigrated on the “Thames” and would like to make contact with any relatives of the OWEN family.
