	As advised earlier, you could buy Charles's death cert............. 'Peggy' is the common diminutive for Margaret 70% of WW1 records were destroyed as the result of a WW2 bombing raid

	Hmmm. I think those are his military records on Ancestry. (Father Charles). It looks as though he married: Marriages Sep 1918 Salvage Mary Welch Chester 8a 751 Welch Charles E Salvage Chester 8a 751 Unless there are 2 Charles Edward Welchs! Maureen

	Same for Elsie - no marriages in Flintshire between 1811 and 1931 but many with no filters. You would really need more information about them. Do you know if they had any children? Their names might help you work backwards.

	Using the county of Flintshire I can only find this one on FreeBMD between 1911 and 1931 - Marriages Sep 1918 (>99%) Salvage Mary Welch Chester 8a 751 Welch Charles E Salvage Chester 8a 751 Without filtering for Flintshire there are many............. You can look for marriages on FreeBMD - it is free.

I cannot for the life of me find when either of the above named got married!! My mother states that Charles Edward Welch may have married in Hawarden, Flintshire? Can anyone please find their marriages?? Much gratitude in anticipation Janice :-(
