Shirley, how do you correct MMN on Ancestry? I have only ever seen person's surname come up. |

Do you mean correction on Freebmd? It's a bit of a fiddle but it can be done. |

If it was on Freebmd then you can contact them and they will (eventually) correct it. However, if it said Marrington on the actual register then this cannot be changed. |

I have had a hell of a job trying to find birth records for my mother, Jaqueline Anne Haynes born 23 Oct 1941 then I discovered that they have miss printed her mothers maiden name as Marrington when it is in fact Harrington, is there any way this can be corrected. |
