My father always said cecil was his brother, he can remember him living with them when they lived at witham friary somerset, when my father was young, Phillis is Beatrices mother and my father can remember the william bolster born to phillis gillard/ bolster, so if my father is correct, cecil and himself would be phillis granchildren |

Cecil would have been in his thirties by the time your father was old enough to have any knowledge of him......if his birth was 1904, as you think |

Hello, I wondered if someone could help me , or advise where to look, my grandmother Beatrice Emily Gillard was born in Preston Yeovil in 1888, she had a son called Cecil, but known as cecil White, I think also born in yeovil, she married in 1917 to a Walter Henry White born 1879, Cecil White was born I think around 1904, but i can find Beatrice at 23 years in Kensington without her son, my father Geoffrey White born 1930 , can remember him as being a lot older , when he new him as a child, as he had not lived with them and looks like he did not look like he lived with his mother, hope this all makes sense, thankyou |
