I wonder if some kind soul might try and find a record of my husband's aunt. He wants to find out what happened to her after a family feud in the distant past. I had previously thought I'd found a record of her birth, in Windsor, Dec q. 1910 under the name of Cecilia. We don't know what Cissy was short for, but it seemed reasonable.

However, I now have the birth certificate for that one, and it's the wrong family altogether.

FreeBMD has her siblings, Henry, Thomas A and Marie registered in Easthampstead (they lived in Winkfield, Berks). The 1911 census shows only Henry at home with his parents, John Johnson and Fanny Johnson (nee King). The others were born after 1911. I have searched under C*, Cecilia, Cecily, Celia and Priscilla, and under all counties as well as Berkshire, between 1900 and 1920 but can't see any likely candidate.

I may not be able to stay online long because my grandson is sharing the spare bedroom with the computer, so I apologise if I don't answer straight away - may be tomorrow now.
