Hi all, James Ward b 17/6/1906 in Rotherham.
Living at Ellen Street, Rotherham (birth certificate) when born.
1911 Census 127 Midland Road, Masbrough, Rotherham.
1921 Living at Abel St, Winney Hill, Signed on at Silverwood colliery aged 14.
James was my father's brother who I never knew.
I am told that he married and lived in the Dinnington area and at some time may have lost one, or both legs.
His parents were Edward Ward & Jane Emily Scopes.
If anyone has James on their family tree, or know anything about his family, please get in touch.
I am told his wife's name may have been Alice, possibly Walker, but not sure.

the way things work on this site you have to contact them by using Search Trees - highly unlikely any of the Ward's will see your posting

if you use Search Trees top of this page and find any connections you then have the option of contacting the tree owner
