My gt gt grandmother took all her children back to her place of birth for christening -in my family that was taking them all from Huddersfield to Horbury Wakefield. I think people travelled more than we imagine.-j

Looking at Eliza Pickles I wondered if she is a servant or is she with her grandparents? Hoping for a stroke of luck here - lol

From IGI I have the family for Mary Maria Pickles which I have tried to expand but the G.R. single line census entries for 1851 don't quite match up and I am hoping someone can see anything different. Apart from 'Bristol' in place of Idle I think the places of birth for John and Elizabeth have been reversed, marriages mostly taking place at the brides church??
