Find Ancestors

Trying to locate siblings and ancestors of William Ernest Oddy, 1894 - 1954 (Electric tram driver & Omnibus driver in Preston) and Margaret Bibby, his wife (my nana) from Lancaster c1893/94 - 1969 (a taylor and in early years a maid in a private house in Fulwood, Preston) married in 1921.

William had several children then left home and took up with someone in Fulwood, Preston to whom he had a child - no information unfortunately.

Any help with the Oddy's and/or the Bibby's would be gratefully received and duly acknowledged in source of data.

MarieCeleste - I do not have the marriage certificate. Sorry. :-(

MarieCeleste - yes he died in amounderness, Fulwood, Preston in 1954. My nana had to register the death - don't know why the 'other' woman couldn't do it. Maybe because they never divorced although he went on to have another child.
