What do you mean by 'maternal mother'?

Did you read GR's guidelines about how to post a request for help?

Hello Geoffrey,

It may be helpful for you to put Theresa's name into the Search Box above (in the dark green bar), as several members of this site have that name in their tree. If you find a connection, you have the option to contact the tree owners.

Regards. Cx.

I've had a PM.

This woman is his wife's birth mother.

And Geoffrey assures me that he has read the GR guidelines about posting requests..........!!

we've all been barking up the wrong tree - message from the poster

I can only give you February 1953 Birmingham when she gave birth to my wife at Marston green Maternity Hospital .3. months later my wife was adopted. The address given on the birth certificate is 36 Blythswood Road Birmingham.

I donlt think Geoffrey has the read the guidelines!!! also this might be better on Find Living Relatives

you should take off the "answered" bit

patchem Report 8 Oct 2011 22:01

The death that I gave would make her 36 when she gave birth, so still a possible.
We need a Sharpe/Keating marriage before 1953, and I still think Ireland is a strong contender.
What is the Father's name on the birth certificate?

Flick

Flick Report 8 Oct 2011 22:05

Geoffrey

Advise your wife to add her name etc to the adoption contact register..............
