Have you got Elizabeth Brooks & Phineas Healey's marriage certificate Wendy?

I think you may have skipped a generation.

Phineas born in 1830 died in 1842, so can't be Mary Elizabeth's father.

Your Phineas was only 19 in 1861, making the one that Patchem found in the 1851 census, son of James & Ruth, the most likely candidate.
