I know I could have titled this 1861/1871 census for Leeds but just for a change.......
I have come unstuck again because the 1881 census has no father present

The marriage that SAFC has posted appears to be the correct one because the firstborn John his middle name is DARNLEY

which match the fathers' names at the marriage. I am not sure about all Josephs potential siblings and I expect the 1841 census will be too late to pick them all up together - lol

Quizzing the G.R. 1851 census I can see that quite a few of the family could be together in Wortley or am I just being too ambitious?

This looks like them in 1841. Both Thomases are woollen weavers. Don't know where Hannah is....

Thank you Kim. The 1841 seems to be have the same names and dates in Wortley except that they started life in the Wortley next to Leeds but have now moved to the Wortley next to Sheffield!
