Sadly the witnesses were not family - Alice Street and someone else unreadable Street. Thanks for possible Annie birth ref. |

Have just looked at 1891 census for Alfred Owen b1826 from the above 1881, and in 1891 his occupation was "Labourer in Ironworks" |

Aagh! I can't remember where I got his date of birth from - I put it my tree some time ago and didn't put a reference. |

Now, I would think this 1881 is the same Annie that we've tracked back from 1911, (the middle initial E and the birthplace) BUT - the father's birthplace and age differs to what Jane states? |

Yes - that's them. I also know Annie was living at Cross Walk at time of marriage. |

At least the 1911 (for helper's reference) gives us her birthplace and an indication of a middle name: |

I have Charles and Annie on the 1911 living at 8 Queen St Cradley Heath and have a copy of their marriage certificate which has Alfred as the father. |

Hello Jane, in addition to patchem's question - can you give us any more info on Annie - like birthplace or siblings? It's not an unusual name and there are quite a few with that name on the census so we need to narrow it down. |

Have you found them on any censuses, etc, to stop us duplicating information? |

I'm trying to find further details about Alfred Owen (who he married, parents etc). He is the father of Annie Owen (1874) who married Charles Pegg (1870) in December 1893 in Christchurch, Dudley. |
