Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 104 Send Message	Hi just to update evryone who helped me I bought the marriage cert of Mary elizabeth westwell and Thurston rostron they were m 20.5.1882 in Clayton she is down as 32 a widow her father was joseph cunliffe . i have since found them on the census I also sent for the wedding cert of her daughter Mary elizabeth westwell to Richard newton Phillips she is 26 a spinster father henry westwell deceased so henry and elizabeth were married witnesses at this marriage were william arthur Phillips who was richards brother Elizabeth Ellen Cunliffe and harry rostron so everything fits . I just still cant find anything on Henry westwell .

	I think that Shropshire is England, but perhaps Morda is right by the border (it does appear to be surrounded by Welsh names on google maps)? Good luck with the certificates, we await further information.

	I think the 1882 marriage cert is the way forward. It should confirm her maiden and any former names Andy

	Have you got Mary (born 1880)'s wedding certificate for her Father's name - I am assuming she married?

	don't think there's a place called Morda in Wales - there is however Morfa in North Wales
