Find Ancestors

Hi everybody;
Thanks for the info The marriage of John Claxton ( perhaps a transcription error, or maybe that is what the census taker thought he heard) to Ann White 1848 York Co. looks promising. I have traced the family back from my gf to my grt gf then to John throughout the census from 1851 to 1891, and their descendants go through the 1901 and 1911 census. There were cases were the name was spelled Clarckson, Larson, given names as Thoma (but looks like to Thomas to my eyes), and other idiosycrcies. The baptism records for John Clarkson will give me something to work on, but I really do not have much before 1847/48.
Suggestions, hints, etc are always appreciated. My tree is on Genes Reunited as well as ancestry.ca. So if you want to have a look, just let me know.

Anna Louise 1864-1935
Ephraim 1865-1950 married twice
Rebecca 1869-1944
With the exception of Abegail , all the children were maerried;

Also there were several other John Clarkson-Ann, but the spouse was not a White;sometimes given as Carr (no connection to my line)

I have marriage and death records plus census for each child but no hard copy of births;

There are a couple of John & Ann Clarkson' in Ontario. I found the death of Ann Carr Clarkson which is the women on the marriage I posted earlier (Dont think thats your couple)

It's a bit dificult to tell which is which and who is who!

According to a tree on Ancestry he married Ann White in 1847, York, Ontario

I can find his death and census info but not the marriage

Try Family Search site as the marriage was probably pre 1837 when registration started

Looking for a John Clarkson, my grt grt grandfather. Born about 1813 around London area, married Nancy (Ann) White, emigrated to Canada where first son Thomas was born (1848), other siblings followed; Lived in York Co, farmed and raised their family. Looking for his parents, or details on emigration or his marriage to Nancy.
Any info would be greatfully acknowledged; I could even reciprocate and due lookups for people in Ontario, or Canada.
