Find Ancestors

Hi im trying to find information on my husbands father, a George Edward Stores possibly born the Sunderland area born in 1893, he later moved to Dumfries and Galloway and married Janet Rintoul at Rhonehouse Dumfriesshire on 6th sept 1918 and died in Dumfriesshire 1966 , I seem to be hitting a brick wall with this one, any help would be greatly appreciated

Thankyou, for taking the time to help, i have had a look at his marriage certificate from 6th sept 1918 his age at the time was 25 so his birth year 1893 could be about right, his father was George Stores he was a seaman and his mother Janet ann Stores , Still desperatly needing more information

Does it give a maiden surname for Janet Ann?

I think it does show her maiden name, and also Georges Job, but im really struggling to make out what it says :-S

Her maiden name looks like Dart or Dent.

George is a Ploughman. But it also has Private 1st KOSB.

George's father, George is deceased as is his mother, Jane Ann.

Witnesses were Thomas Gibson and Henrietta Hutcheson, I think.

Liz-Is the mother Jane Ann or Janet Ann? (not that it's helping me find them,mind you!!!).

Hi theres was a George Stores married in Sunderland 1887, is there anyway to find more information on the spouse as it does not show before 1912 ?
