Can anyone help with information regarding David GIDDIS.
Born 17 June 1843, Bermondsey, Surrey (now London) UK
Married Celia (or Cecelia) Elliot (born 1840 New Jersey USA), on 18 December 1871, Manhattan, New York.
David & Celia appear on the 1880 US Federal Census together with a son Thomas (born 1874?)
David is shown in various records as Leather Finisher/Spanish Leather Dresser/Currier/Morrocco Dresser. He also appeared in the Lynn Massachusetts Directory in 1880. Beyond this I have no further
information regarding David, Celia, or Thomas.
Can anyone help please?
David was married before to Louisa Mary Bowling, December 28 1863, Bermondsey
