Eccles Parish Church 1853

William was born Pendleton 1830 and she London, Middlesex 1826, after they married they lived in Monton, Swindon.

Can anyone help trying to trace them on the 1841 or 1851 census or baptism records?

Do you not have the marriage cert.? that will give their fathers names and may make tracing their baptisms easier.

It's for a friend and she cannot afford to get certs.

I've already got one for her, but now need 3 more, and I'm not paying for them,not unitl I've exausted every other option first

Wm - 45. Ann 45. Ellen 14. Richard 12. Ester 9.

Mum and dad born in county. Children not.

Address Charlotte Mews, Marylebone. Dad is a carman

Not sure of any of the above now. Just found a burial for a 6 year old Ellen in Marylebone in 1832. Address is Park Crescent Mews.

Found baptism of Richard - address 2 Charlotte Mews so I don't think any of my Ellen info is the correct one ... sorry.

I wouldn't place too much emphasis on age on censuses they varied a bit.

I've found a Helen Owen baptism in Shoreditch ...

I'm terribly afraid that you are going to have to buy that marriage certificate.

They are both such relatively common names that it is like looking for a black cat in a coal cellar trying to sort them out from the others.

Unfortunatly the parish records for Eccles have seemingly not yet been transribed oto the web ....... they are not on Lancs online parish, nor on the new familysearch.beta site (www.familysearch.org/#form=advanced-records)

You said " after they married " they lived in Manton Swindon. You may have

have area incorrect

Try this it may be of some help. Try Searching the Census for 1841 1851

1861 ect for MONTON or SWINTON in the Census for Eccles Barton On

Irwell Lancs

Comming from that area I know the places of Monton and Swinton It

sounds mighty pausable to me
