Hi,Can you please look up Maria Pepper Croxford in 1891 census.She was born 30/9/1874,in Mepal,Cambs,so should be abt 16 yrs old.1881 and 1901 cesus are from Mepal,Cambs.Father was Abraham and mother was Mary.Good luck Regards BOB

As I see that Abraham says he is married

Afraid not Her mother died in Mepal 28 Feb 1888 aged 43 ish Regards Bob

Strange that Abraham still says married in 1891 if she died in 1888

Tooty Fruity Hi Possible ,but she was only a farm laboures daughter,and her mother was still giving birth to her other kids.At 9 ,did she travel with any elders Bob

Hi Glitter Boy .I have a copy of roots 1891 census,Abraham b 1846 is 45 yrs,then sons Alfred,Arthur,and daughters Jane and Nellie.Sorry can't give any ref number.Mepal is the birth place of all Regard Bob

I appreciate that you are new to the boards but could you please stay with the one thread when you want info on the same person, or family, even if it is on another census.

Otherwise, people will duplicate all the work already done in order to confirm that the info they are giving you is correct!

Hi Dea,You found her in the 1911 census with husband.Which I thought it would be easier as it involved 2 names,which was proven as your responce was very quick indeed..I have done the best I can,but as I am fairly new to this family historian hobby I have drawn a blank with her as a single lass on the census Regards Bob

Hi Dea.I am new to this,Sorry to sound and look thick ,but some of your answer went over my head.You lost me.If I ask for info on a person ,and later I want some different info on the same person ,how do I go about it. Is there any where I can read the correct process ,Regards Bob don't laugh

There is a 'sticky' message from GR at the top of the board read this first.

Then bear in mind that when you ask for info on a particular person, or their husband, or family member, the 'helpers' on here like to give you the correct info.

In order to do this, we research as much of the 'family' as we can, going backwards and forwards through all the census so if you have another thread on the same people, we are duplicating work which has been done already - VERY frustrating !

That is why it is best to keep to the one thread so that all the info is kept together - It saves us all a lot of time and effort. and we can be of more help to you, and even quicker :-D
