Hazel Report 29 Aug 2012 11:13

Since receiving replies to my message, I have found my grandfather George Frederick Nunn on the Seamew (steam vessel), but still no trace of Ada Lucy Henwood my grandmother. I would still appreciate any help in tracing her. Many thanks.

Hazel

Hazel Report 3 Aug 2011 15:15

My maternal grandparents as above were married in September 1901 in the district of Poplar, Middlesex.
I have tried many times and failed to establish where each of them was when the 1901 census was carried out. I know my grandfather was in the navy and have found him on the 1891 census as 'member of crew, boy second class'. He was 17 at the time. Maybe he was on a ship in 1901, but on checking his naval records I cannot confirm this. As for my grandmother I have no idea.
I would appreciate members help on this.

Kind regards
Hazel Moulder
