Find Ancestors

Hi Folks,

Anyone with any idea how I go about finding a grave of a relative?.

He died at Westminster Hospital, Middlesex on the 11/05/1927 and buried on the 13th....and I would think that they buried the dead from the hospital in a specific cemetery?

Any idea of which it might be?.

Update, Slight mistake.!

He did die in at the Westminster Hospital, London,

BUT!!!! ...... Its Westminster Hospital, London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada!....not England!.....

It appears he is buried at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario.

I am hoping to fnd out if he was a headstone, which I doubt. But it would be nice to know where he is layed or his ashes scattered. And if it has a headstone..what is scribed on it.?

His name was George Henry Johnston. I doubt he has a headstone..but it would be nice to know for sure.

George was born in 1880 in Portsmouth,
England....but fought as a Canadian in ww1 and was wounded in 1917. He was classed as a mental patient on his return to Canada, and committed suicide in 1927.

I put up the "Find A Grave" memorial on Tuesday....lol.
he didn't have one..so I put up what Ii know...at least as close as poss.

And yes..thats him on the Canadian film archive. I had been thinking he died in London England..not Canada.

But now I know where he is..I am hoping someone might offer their services to find out if he has a headstone or not. And where in the cemetery he is buried. A photo would be fantastic.!

I really need to go through my contacts as I have forgotten who is realated to who as regards how and why I have folks in my contacts.....hehehe. :)

I have been trying to find out where and if my grt uncle has got a headstone in the cemetery he is buried in Canada.
Thats my lastest quest.

Plus I heard yesterday that my aunt Margie died on Monday. I have not seen her in many years....but its another link in the chain of life gone.

That leaves just one of my fathers siblings left out of 6 of them. Plus my other aunts husband died this Feb...The one who had gone to Oz.

She died in 01..but her husband lasted till early this year.

Folks are dropping like flies! :(
