Find Ancestors

Dear All
In my family tree I have two people with the surname Eardley and I am trying to find if there is any connection between them. Firstly

Ann Eadley b. 1779 Staffordshire
m. 07/10/1800 Audley, Staff to Ralph Bennett
I have traced Ralph's family so I do not need any information on him. I have found Ralph's and Ann's marriage certificate on family search but it does not list her parent's names. On family search I have 2 Ann's born in 1779 (to different parents) and I am unsure how to find out which one is my Ann.

The second Eadley in my tree is conencted to Ann's eldest daughter (Martha, b.1800 Woodhouse) who married a Samuel Eardley (bap 24/03/1799 St James, Audley) in St James, Audley on 07/10/1824.

Through contact with someone else related to Samuel Eardley I have traced his family but until I have Ann's parents and possibly paternal grandparents I cannot know if there's any connection between Samuel and Ann Eardley. Thanks for all your time and help.

The second Daniel is similar in age to Ann so if there is any connection I think it will be to do with the first Daniel or Oldcot.

Thanks for that, I didn't have Oldcot's parents. I am really looking for Ann Eardley's parents to try and find if there is any connection between Ann and her son-in-law Samuel (Oldcot's great grandson). As they have the same surname and are from the same area I think it would be a large conincidence for them not to be related. On the other hand Eardley seems to be quite a popular surname so maybe it is just coincidence.

Now that's cleared up who Anne's parents were. I am wondering if Edward and te first Daniel Eardley are broters, need to try and trace that. Thanks for all your help so far.

it seems the only child of oldcot was edward

so if Daniel is Oldcot's only son then there probably isn't any connection with Ann Eardley, unless it's further back, which could be more difficult to trace. Thanks for all your help with Ann's family, I didn't have that information.

Has anyone come across Joseph Eardley born c1804-1811 please? Married Mary Wakefield, 1830, Living in Talk, Staffs 1841 Census, Joseph died 1845. Occupation bricklayer.

I am unable to find his birth. On the 1841 Census he states born Staffordshire.

Any tiny crumb of information would be most gratefully received.
