Hi, I was just wondering if someone could do a look up for a marriage between Wilfred Thornley and Ivy Green in Grimsby 1922. Or be able to view the certificate?

I'm basically trying to find information on Ivy Green's birth as I only have guess' on my tree from a relative, it's not concrete. She had 9 children I think with Wilfred - June, Brian, Shirley, Eric, Sylvia, Shirley, Florence, Sandra and Arthur.

June was definitely born in 09/01/2007

Wilfred Thornley was born in 1902 I believe, if there's any other info you require that I've missed let me know but in terms of info on Ivy Green I have none only guesses from old relatives!!

Yes again that looks plausable, it's such a general name its so fustrating I've found lots of possibilities!

One of my great aunties seemed to believe her mother's maiden name was Graves, Sarah Graves, but wasn't sure is there anything that has a mother named Sarah Green or something similar?

Looking at the names of Ivy's children, it appeared she named some of them after her siblings: Florence, Alfred and William.
