I don't know her parents. Trying to determine if she is the Mildred M James who married Henry George Reynolds 1970 Ware Herts 4b 642. Working sideways I am afraid.

Yes they were together from 1930 but he was already married to someone else and ran away and left wife and children. Sorry my writing was wrong and it was 224 - just got the record back on line.

I have found a birth in Herts for a Mildred Mary James B1896. This could be her also. Henry lived in London then moved to Dorking Surrey where this woman and he had a male child around 1930. I have never been able to find this birth. They then moved to Ware Herts. These are the facts I know and the family know. I had assumed they met in London but they may have met in Dorking Surrey. The boy child was born in Surrey prior to the him moving to Ware Herts. He was supposed to be a solicitor but his death certificate says he was a retired lorry driver. The DC matches his DOB exactly. The person living with him in 1972 who reported his death is penelope JAMES. So you can see where I am coming from. This is my dearest friend's grandfather and I was finally able to find his death certificate and get that for her but she would like to know as much as possible about her grandad. He did serve in WW1 but he often changed his name from George Henry Reynolds to Henry George Reynolds.

Found at UKBDM a child Frederick James . Father named also as James B1933 Croydon Surrey. Helps a bit as if she is one of the London Mildred's both fathers are Frederick. I contacted Westcott Village where they were supposed to have lived but no records there so assuming the nearest reg district would have been Dorking.

Same family - looking for a 1911 Census entry for Lillian Woolley married George H Reynolds at Kingston Surrey 1932 and had a child George H Reynolds Kingston Surrey 1931. He was born 1896 - she should be a similar age but this is all I know about her. I have heaps of information on him. He comes from Hackney London and after living in Surrey they moved to Ware Herts where he died in 1972 - age 76.
