I am trying to find a birth record of Annie Eliza King c1864. On her marriage certificate, it states that she was born in Earsford, Kent, is there/was such a place?

Googled it as never heard of it and Ashford was the only one that came up

Your right Margee, it was the Census!!

Could it be "Eynsford"?...............a village and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. It is located on the River Darent, south of Dartford in Kent.

I have searched for dob and census without success for both Annie Eliza and father William. Can you put up the census you are referring to please.

Vera, Annie married Wm Alexander Shepley in 1889 at Dover, he was in the Navy, Wm died 1898, Annie married John Hauge in 1908.

Keep looking at 1871 and 1881

There is an Annie listed as niece living with Malcolm and Charlotte Clark but claims to have been born 1861 Ashford

Just noticed that on the 1871 Census there is a Anne Eliza 1864 7 yrs Tunbridge, Kent, could this be her. Can you see who she is with please?

The 1871 is not her Mel - parents are John + Charlotte.
