ok here goes, Ethel would have been my grandmother, but she was killed in WW2 1941 in the Norwich Beadecker bomb raids, she married Walter JH Jopp (i now have his lineage thanks to Lindsey and co), who was killed in WW2 1940 up north, died in a hosp there. I know that Ethel had a sister, Lillian, who married a Royal Potter, children were Nova and Brian Royal, all died in the same raid as Ethel, Ethel and Lillians maiden names was Seaman, from Norwich, thats all i have im afraid, mum passed away and would never talk about this side of family, soooo help !! please lol

looks possible, Lillian and Ethel were born after Gertrude if its the same people, the parents names are right, just found this too ; .
The garages mark the spot where a row of terraces once were these suffered a direct hit along with the row on St Martins Road up to the corner next to Wensum Park. this was the raid of 27th/28th which appears to have been aimed at City Station. It resulted in the deaths of Royal Potter, who appears to have been on leave from the RAF, his wife Lillian and their two children, and Ethel Jopp at No 6 St Mary's Road. the blast was so extensive that the backs were torn off the row on Drayton Road, which you can make out in the brick lines which change from Norfolk Red to engineering bricks on all bar two at one end an one at the right,

I know that thier house was St Marys
