Yes the age and place fit - what I need to try and find out is if :

Elizabeth Kirkham was either the Sister-in-Law of Mary which would give us Mary's maiden name as the marriage would have been to a brother ... or ... she was a Sister of William and her married name was Kirkham.

This would then establish whether or not the Elizabeth and Agnes Harrison down as the Nieces of Elizabeth Kirkham on the 1881 census are the daughters of William and Mary.

Hmmm ... what a tangled web ;-)
