Find Ancestors

Hi,
My Greataunt was born in Bilston ,Westmidlands.
Could anyone tell me where do i apply for a Birth certificate.

Firstly you need to find her birth record if you can. Up till about 1945 Freebmd is the place to look:

www.freebmd.org.uk/

This will give you when the birth was registered, the district and a reference number.

You can then order online from the General Register Office:

www.gro.gov.uk

I only considered the Stourbridge one because of the connection of Staffordshire in 1871 and Worcestershire in 1881
