Thank you Astra they did return to England sometime
between 1906 and 1911 as they, as you found, in the 1911
uk census. Have not found the date they returned to England

I can't find them coming back into the Country either. if the family travelling out to the USA is them as posted above what happened to the child Florence born in 1903 and it is a bit of a jump from Fancy Goods Packer to Farmer or vice versa!

Thanks for that. It's frustrating that they can't be located coming back into the Country. Either they weren't listed or they have been mistranscribed.

Thank you for that Vera - very kind of you.
Rachel Maud was the daughter born in Canada.
Perhaps they went off to make a new life for themselves
and it never worked out.
Thank you again. Irene

Can anyone help me?
I am trying to trace my Maternal family who went to Canada around 1910?
Grandfathers name was Arthur George and Grandmother was Polly Durrant. They went to Owen Sound, Ontario and had my Mother who was named Polly Charity. My Grandmother died on 30th November 1915 whilst giving birth to my mother. I know she had two btothers named Arthur George & George George and a sister named Elizabeth George. Afterwards, the family returned to England.
Any information would be such a thrill for me?
I also know that my Grandfather & Grandmother were in the Salvation Army.
