Hi I have just eliminated that family becasue Joseph was at home with his brother JOnathan and sister Martha on the 1841.
The Joseph who married Eliza married in 1840 so he could not have been at home in 41
There was another Joseph who married Elizabeth in 1839 but that is wrong too.
Jonathan married in 1850 and I do not know what happend to Joseph. I cant find out what happend to Martha at the moment either.
As I do not have the children with their parents on any census I have no idea who they are. All I know is that their father was Joseph. This was from JOnathans marriage cert. It doesnt say he is deceased so he could be alive in 1850.
Thanks for your help

WHO is Jonathan?
When and where was he born?
You haven't explained where you got the name MARIA
And I suspect you're guessing about the year and place of Joseph's birth

Someone in the past said the parents were Joseph and Ann Rushworth. Ann died in 1839 if I remember correctly. Unfortunately i do not know where this info came from.
All the best

Jonathan is my direct line. He is living with Martha and Joseph Rushworth on the 1841 census .
1841 England Census about Jonathan Rushworth Name: Jonathan Rushworth Age: 15 Estimated birth year: abt 1826 Gender: Male Where born: Yorkshire, England
Civil parish: Leeds Town Hundred: Leeds Borough County/Island: Yorkshire Country: England
Street Address:
Occupation: View image
Registration district: Leeds Sub-registration district: Leeds North Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age Joseph Rushworth 20 Martha Rushworth 25 Jonathan Rushworth 15
Because of their approximate ages I would say they are brother, sister and brother.
I thought Joseph married Eliza but the marriage cert has come back wrong.
Jonathans marriage cert says his father is a cloth dresser and was called Joseph.
I am trying to find out who Jonathans mother was. and I am not having any sucess.

Hi Flick
Thank you for all your help with this family and for the help you have given me in the past. The Joseph born in c 1819 I thought was his brother not his father.
I thought if I could find a marriage for JOseph (Brother) I could establish that he was infact his brother. Unfortunately so far I have been unlucky with this. Maria was just another attempt to eliminate them.
All the best
