Hi,
My great-great aunt, Elizabeth Lark (born 1870, Wickford Essex) married William George Duffield (born 1869, Brynmawr Brecknockshire) in 1888. She had two children with him but they split up due to spousal abuse. She then had 7 children with Edward Charles Coppin (born 1868, Wickford Essex), but they were not married.
I fail to find them on the 1901 or 1911 census', could somebody please help me? I think that Elizabeth will be living with Edward Coppin in 1901 and 1911 (they were born between 1898 and 1911), but I am also interested in what happened to William George Duffield after they split.

many thanks is there any information on William Duffield in 1901 and 1911?

I'm not seeing him in either, and have also checked him as George.

What were the names of the children Elizabeth had with Duffield? - They might lead us to him.

Louisa Mary Duffield (b.1892) and Arthur William Duffield (b.1889) I think they lived with her parents?

I believe Arthur W had two more children in Pontypool and Louisa M married and had 5 children, then married again and had another 5 children!! then she married again and died under the name Louisa Mary Edwards in 1983.

Is there any info on Louisa Mary, apparently she died as Edwards but her second married name was Lupton.

Thankyou, there should be a marriage to Mr. Edwards as she died as Louisa Mary Edwards in Jan Quarter 1983.

I looked for a marriage of a Louisa M. Savage to an Edwards but I couldn't find one.
