	Record doen't give a Church for Cecil's baptism. If I am reading the record correctly Robert was a POW in Germany from 24 October 1914 until he was repatriated on 10 January 1919.

Member Since: March 2011 Posts: 21 Send Message	I will have have to get on the military records all this is new I didnt know she left the uk or that he was as a prisoner but he was killed by a tram in 1929 and she married again in 1931 to a Jack White so all the story ended then !! The baptism is correct though as her eldest son was called Cecil. Also her 3 other children were born much later my Dad in 1922. I wondered why there was such a gap maybe POW is the rason why. Did it say how long and where he was a prisoner ? I am in Spain so I would love to know what church in Gibraltar maybe I could visit and look at the records? Thats why I was to bed at 11 your time lol !! Thank you again........Jaq

	I think you will find her parents on the 1911 Irish when you get her Dad's name from the marriage certificate!

	Sorry, it also says his father is Robert James. All this doesn't help with Elizabeth though!

	Robert's military records are on Ancestry. His wife is given as Elizabeth Josephine Tucker. They married at the Parish church, Gosport on 4th June 1912. The witnesses were Samuel and Louise(?) Bigmore. Robert had older brothers Thomas and William and sisters Mary, Elsie, Freda and Alice. His mother was Isabella. His son Robert Cecil was born 3rd (?) June 1914 and baptised 18/08/1914 in Gibralter.
