Hello Emma, Cooper isn't an unusual name so the best place to start is to get some certificates of marriages and births to get parent's names and father's occupations.

Olive cooper vorn around 1914- she had brother cyril and sisters Ida, Lillian, and Eva.
Olive then went to marry Leslie Evans aroun the time of 1940. Olive died in 1960, Leslie died in 1990.
Leslie has brothers harold and jack and sisters vera and hilder.
Does this provide enough to find either of their parents? everyone as far as im aware is derby born and bred. Many may be on as young children in the 1911 census.
